Ancorite Surface Protection has successfully completed a contract to provide vibration tiling for the Labeller Area at Diageo, Runcorn, production and bottling facility. The tiling was required as part of an upgrade of the existing bottling line which included the installation of a new labeller.
The installation was carried out using the Ancorite HD (Heavy Duty) Vibration tile system. The hexagonal Argelith tiles were selected as they provide a dense, hard-wearing floor that is easy to clean, resistant to chemicals and slip resistant when wet. The tiling work took place in three phases between March and September 2018, to meet Diageo’s programme for the upgrade.
The work was carried out by a small team of skilled craftsmen and the tiling was made good around existing equipment, giving the area a high-quality appearance. Ancorite also formed a tiled ramp, installed stainless steel channels and a new sump. The resulting high-performance flooring is durable and hygienic, meeting the client’s requirements for a practical and robust finish.
Ancorite has previous experience with Diageo, Runcorn and has supplied and installed specialist flooring at Diageo Breweries in Kenya, Cameroon and Ghana.
