Ancorite Director sets new record time for Fun Run

Ancorite’s Sales Director, David Clegg, recently achieved a record time for the Beaverbrooks Blackpool 10k Fun Run. The event took place on Sunday, 13th May, 2018. The ten-kilometre route took the runners down the promenade, along the Golden Mile and past the Blackpool Pleasure Beach before turning back to the finish.

David said that the warm weather contributed to his record slow time of around 85 minutes for the route.

David’s team, shown above, also included his son, Martin (left) and his brother in law, David Grundy (centre), who both ran the distance in around 1 hr!

Proceeds from their endeavours went to Trinity Hospice, Bispham near Blackpool.
