Ancorite secure additional Diageo projects.
Ancorite have secured two additional Diageo projects at their sites in Dublin and Kumasi, Ghana.
Diageo, Dublin – St James Gate
Ancorite have now secured the next phase of tiling for Diageo’s new brewing and fermentation facility in St James Gate. This is the BBA area and provides an additional 1500 metres square of tiling. This challenging and complex project is a mixture of the Ancorite HD, epoxy vibration tiling system and the Ancorite CR system where the Argelith hexagon tiles are hand laid on to cured screed and grouted in an epoxy or vinylester mortar.
Diageo, Kumasi – Ghana
Following the successful first phase at the Kumasi plant, Ancorite are currently working on the next phase of Ucrete for the extension to the packaging hall and other works. With the extra work, this will equate to around 4000 metres square of Ucrete polyurethane to floors, plinths and channels. Due to the diligence and hard work of the site operatives working alongside local labour the first phase was completed to a high standard ahead of time. Ancorite are also in discussion regarding other plants in Africa as a result of Diageo’s expansion in this region.
