Terrazzo Flooring for Flagship Primark Store

Ancorite Surface Protection has provided high-quality terrazzo flooring for a new Primark Store at Westfield, London. The flagship store, in the newly expanded retail complex, was opened in 2018.

Ancorite’s contract, with Graham Construction, was for the supply and application of the screed and flooring finishes mainly for the store entrance area. The terrazzo flooring was from the Flowcrete Mondeco range and offers clients a choice of coloured aggregates, which can be incorporated into the resin finish, prior to curing and diamond grinding.

Mondeco Exotic Terrazzo with a mirror glass aggregate was selected. This seamless flooring combines the advantages of a decorative appearance and a durable finish, suitable for areas with high footfall, such as shopping malls. The installation was successfully completed by a small team of Ancorite’s skilled craftsmen.

Ancorite’s involvement at Westfield, London, began in 2008, with a project to lay 7000m2 terrazzo flooring in public concourse areas and has continued through to the present time.
